    But iPhone is out of China. We are developing web apps for safari on iPhone using Ruby on Rails, if iPhone is always out of China, I guess Apple would lose a big market.

    That was the case. But the map is not updated anymore this application was just a last minute experiment before my vacations. I think iPhones are now available at most stores. Now I am just waiting for the iPad..like an iTouch but with a larger screen…

    The problem with the iPhone north of the border of the map is the plan. Ouch! I’d be looking at doubling my monthly bill just to give Jobs more cash.

    The iPhone is less a phone than a platform for mobile Internet applications that start with telephony. Voice will always be the primary personal mobile communications activity; but it will be one application, or set of applications, among many. Radio is another of those applications.
